1.1 Functional scope
The PROFIBUS ® -DMT has the complete
range of functions of the Standard-DMT.
However the PROFIBUS ® -DMT is
expanded with PROFIBUS ® DP function‐
ality. The operating mode
[Bus-ON]
for
PROFIBUS ® functionality can be selected
via the operating menu. In [Bus-ON] oper‐
ating mode the PROFIBUS
®
-DMT sends
corresponding information over its
gateway and the PROFIBUS ® to the
master (PLC, PC, ...).

valid in combination with the operating
instructions for the DMT in question.
