Organisational measures and safety
Use is only permitted by authorised and instructed persons and in compliance with DIN EN 1492 and BGR 500 or
country-specific regulations.
Always determine the load weight of the load to be lifted before use. The permissible load capacity of the wheel clamp
must never be exceeded. Use the wheel clamps only for mounting on intact tyres with sufficient air pressure. Otherwise the
rim may be damaged and/or tyres may slip off the wheel clamps.
In addition, the wheel clamps may only be used for vehicles with four wheels.
Also pay attention to the load capacity of the loading harness and the straps and check the wheel clamp and straps before
and after each use for mechanical damage, as well as the safety device for the spacers and correct function of the toggle
screw.
The user must ensure that no persons are in the danger area during the lifting process.
Initial operation
1. Before each use, the wheel clamp must be checked for any damage that may affect its load-bearing
capacity. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer. Ensure that the wheel mounts are securely locked in place.
2. Then check whether the tyre width, tyre diameter and vehicle mass can be handled with your technical
resources.
3. Inspect the tyres, rims and wheel trims for damage to avoid later complaints from vehicle owners.
