A PARENTAL LOCK  can  be
activated  from  here.  This  should
ensure  that  unsuitable  DVD
content is not played to children.
The  individual  disc  must  have
this capability. 
Sometimes,  entire  scenes  are
swapped  seamlessly  if  the  rating
is too high to be played, or they
may  be  missed  out  completely.
Some discs will not play at all if
the parental level is set too low.

factory  default  by  using  this
option.
If  you  are  experiencing  trouble
with  your  player  then  trying  the
DEFAULT RESET option may cure
the problem.

A password  system  consisting  of
a  PIN  number  is  used  to  protect
the  Parental  Lock  setting.  The
password  can  be  changed  from
here.  To  change  the  password,
the  current  password  must  be
known. You will be asked for the
old  password  then  you  must
enter  your  new  password  twice
(for  confirmation  purposes)  and
then move down to OK and press
“ENTER”.  The  factory  default
password is 1369.
