The Position of the Saw
To avoid the plug or socket becoming wet, position the machine next to a wall plug. The
cable should form a „drip loop“ (see images). This prevents the water from reaching the
socket, or the connection to the extension lead, along the cable.
If the plug or socket become wet, DO NOT pull out the plug. Firstly disconnect the fuse or
circuit breaker that is supplying the socket with power and, only then, pull out the plug
and inspect the socket for water.
CAUTION:
To minimise the risk of electric shock, keep all connections dry and away from the
ground. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
