This menu applies to ME mode:
Program the camera as follows:
1. Select SHUTTER with the cursor and set an exposure time using the RIGHT/LEFT keys.
2. Select GAIN with the cursor and set a fixed value for increasing the video signal.
3. No back-light compensation is possible in this mode.
4. After completing your input, select “RETURN” with the cursor and then press ENTER.
9.2.1 Back-light compensation
With back-light compensation, you can reduce interference from light sources such as car
headlights. In general, however, make sure that there is no possibility of back-light interference
when you install the camera. If you select BLC and press ENTER, a submenu opens.
Proceed as follows when setting back-light compensation:
Situation 1:
No particular object to be monitored. The object can appear at
any point in the picture. Recommended function: Back-light compensation with histogram.
Situation 2:
The object to be monitored is always at the same place in the picture.
The back-light conditions change very little. Recommended function: Back-light compensation
(BLC) with Window Weight Setting.
