Safety measures
Do not cover the heater!
Do not treat this appliance as a toy.
Never cover the heater as this can cause a fire hazard.
The appliance is not suitable for use by children or persons with a
physical or mental condition unless this is under supervision.
The appliance works without thermostat. Do not use the appliance in
small spaces in which persons are present who cannot leave the space
unaided.
Only use the appliance in well ventilated spaces. Ensure the sufficient
discharge of the flue gases and a sufficient fresh air supply.
Do not use the appliance in a home already containing a water heater
that is not connected to a flue gas venting duct.
Do not place the appliance in the immediate vicinity of flammable
objects such as furniture, curtains, carpets, etc.
Make sure that you leave a space of at least 50 cm along the sides and
rear side of the appliance and a space of 100 cm at the front.
Do not put any flammable liquids next to the appliance.
Always place the appliance with the front facing the centre of the space
and place it on a flat, stable surface.
Do not move the appliance while it is working.
Do not expose the gas bottle to sunlight or heat and do not put it in the
immediate proximity of another heat source.
The appliance may not be placed in the immediate proximity of a plug
socket.
The appliance is only suitable for domestic use within the home.
Do not use the appliance in tall flat buildings, basements, bedrooms,
bathrooms, cars, caravan or campers.
Do not use the appliance while sleeping.
Always check the appliance for leaks before use or when the gas bottle
is connected again. Never use a naked flame to test for leaks.
Only use the gas bottle when it is upright.
Shut the gas valve when the appliance is not in use.
If you suspect a gas leak, immediately shut the gas valve on the gas
bottle. Check all connections by rubbing them with a water/soap
mixture then slowly open the gas valve on the gas bottle again (make
