WARNINGS
•
Never place the unit near flammable liquids and units operating on gas.

Make sure that the unit cannot come into contact with water or other liquids, this can lead to the
risk of electric shock.

Do not insert objects or fingers through the safety grate of the unit. Protect your children from this
danger.
•
Never try to repair the unit yourself. All interventions that are performed by an unauthorised person
could be dangerous; the warranty will be void in this case. Also the replacement of the power cord
needs to be performed by a qualified electrician
•
Use this unit only inside and operate it according to these instructions. Do not use the unit for other
purposes.
•
Do not use the unit outside and always place it in a dry environment.
•
Check the power cord from time to time. Never use the power cord, plug or appliance when they
are damaged.
•
Remove the plug from the wall outlet before moving or cleaning the device.
•
Make sure the unit is on a flat and stable surface during operation so that it cannot fall over.
•
Do not use chemical products to clean the unit.
•
Make sure that children are supervised by an adult when they are near a working unit.
•
Make sure that the water tank is never filled to above the maximum (MAX) and the level does not
fall below the minimum (MIN).
•
Regularly replenish the water in the water tank to prevent unpleasant odours.
ASSEMBLY
•
Always place the appliance with top side on a flat, stable surface.
•
Fit the wheels (1&2) supplied. The wheels with brake function must be placed on the back of the
unit, those without brake function on the front.
•
Fill the water tank. Make sure that the tank is never filled to above the maximum (MAX) and the
level does not fall below the minimum (MIN).
•
To optimise the cooling effect you can lay 1 of the cooling elements supplied in the water tank.
Then add water to just below maximum level. Make sure that the cooling elements have been in
the deep-freeze long enough before using them
OPERATION
•
You can set the speed of the fan function with the speed buttons:
0 = off / 1 = low / 2 = medium / 3 = high
•
COOL: To activate the cooling function. Only use this function when the water tank is filled. When
this function is not activated, the appliance only blows air at room temperature and the water tank
is not used.
•
SWING: To activate the automatic swing function.
MAINTENANCE
Warning:
To prevent an electrical shock you should turn the unit off and unplug it from the wall outlet before you
start any maintenance or repairs.
Cleaning
•
Remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning the device.
Cleaning the air filter and honeycomb cooling membrane
The air filter and honeycomb cooling membrane must be regularly cleaned to ensure optimum operation.
•
Undo the 2 screws on the top of the air filter (3). Take the filter out of the device.
