Special Safety Precautions for this Device
WARNING: Hot surface!
Danger of burns!
During operation the temperature of accessible surfaces can be very
high.
CAUTION: Fire hazard!
Oil and fat can burn when overheated. Keep sufficient safe distance
(30 cm) to inflammable objects such as furniture, curtains, etc.
CAUTION:
• Make sure that the appliance is stable! The switches and the two
heating elements must stand on the table top.
• This appliance must not be immersed in water for cleaning. Please
refer to the instructions provided in the chapter, “Cleaning”.
• Only move the grill when
- cooled
and
- when the two heating elements are connected to the transport
handle.
Make sure that the large recesses on the handle face upwards.
• Do not move the appliance during operation.
• Place the appliance on a level, water and heat-resistant surface. The
surface should be easy to clean as spattering is unavoidable. If rest-
ing on a sensitive surface, place a heat-resistant plate beneath it.
• Due to rising heat and vapors do not place the appliance under wall
cupboards.
• Ensure that the mains cord does not touch hot parts of the appliance
during operation.
• Do not touch hot parts of the appliance.
