Pull the spring bolt upwards, rotate around 180° and lock in
position (in nick).
Adjust gripping depth and rotate the spring bolt again
around 180°.
Adjust the gripping depth distance approx. on 100 – 150 mm
from the middle of the gripping depth to the outside edge
of the stone layer (see stickers at the device).

Gripping depth - Machine Side
The adjustment of the gripping depth of the lamella grips on
the machine side is occurred by a central thread bolt.
Adjust the gripping depth (machine side) so, that the steel-
lamellas are gripping in the
½
of the stone layer (see fig. 8).
Example: with stone layer breadth of 80 mm

With extremely large stone layers it recommends to adjust
the gripping depth a little lower, so that the steel-lamellas
grip in the lowest range of the stone layer (see Fig. A).
Otherwise it exist the danger that the stone layer breaks
out.
Swing the crank upwards.
With the crank adjust the position of the steel-lamellas so
they are gripping in the
½
of the stone layer.
Swing the crank downwards to save it from autonomous
rotating.
