you have finished adjusting the angle,
tighten up the four M6 clamp screws (AF
5 mm) to 7 Nm torque and secure them
with thread lock fluid.

For
smaller adjustment to the height of
the handlebar position
, infinitely variable
adjustments of
+/- 25 mm
can be made on
the steering column mount. To adjust the
height, two M6 clamp screws (AF 5 mm)
must be loosened on the steering column
mount. Then the steering column can be
moved in its mount to the desired position.
Then tighten the four M6 clamp screws (AF
5 mm) to 7
Nm torque and secure them
with thread lock fluid.

Larger adjustments to the height
can be
made by replacing the steering column
with a different length.
If you want to make a change to the handlebar
position, please contact your rehabilitation
specialist dealer or PRO ACTIV.
Note that the lines and the cable lengths
must be adjusted after making a large adjust-
ment to the handlebar position.
20.2.3 Grips
The product is designed for two-handed opera-
tion. This means that the handles have to be
firmly held with both hands while driving.

20.3 Brakes
Generally, two driving brakes are fitted to the
product – one of them with a locking option.
Please note that the braking effect can be
strongly reduced by one or all of the following
conditions:
Worn tyre profile
Soiled and wet tyres
Wet, soiled, loose and uneven ground
Dirt and wetness on the brakes and brake
surfaces
Changed weight load
20.3.1 Disk brake
The brakes are operated manually using the
brake lever. On the
right-hand side
in the
direction of travel is the brake lever equipped
with a brake sensor (with recuperation func-
tion, see Chapter 20.5.5); on the
left-hand
side
in the direction of travel is the brake lever
without recuperation function.
