Ground the transformer/inverter if it has a ground screw.
Always switch the ON/OFF switch to „0“.
The ground screw should be connected to the vehicle frame. If you use the unit
outdoors, connect the ground screw with a cable to an iron rod that has been
knocked into the Earth. If a continuous hum sounds through an audio system, the
only solution is to use a transformer/inverter with a pure sinus.
Blown fuses:
Every transformer/inverter comes equipped with fuses. In transformer/inverters up to
including 1000 W, the fuses are seated on the side of the connection cable. From
1400 W, they are in the housing. The most common reason that leads to fuse
destruction is incorrect connection cable poling.
If you replace the fuse, make sure that the transformer/inverter has been
disconnected from the direct-current network.
Replace the fuses only with a fuse that has the same ratin g.
Correct the fault before switching on the next time and restart the
transformer/inverter.
Power source / Battery:
Most batteries are designed to operate the transformer/inverter for 30 -60 minutes,
even if the engine is off. The duration always depends on the battery condition and
the transformer/inverters output load.
If you want to operate the transformer/inverter with the engine switched off, we
recommend periodically restarting the engine for approx. 10 minutes to recharge the
battery.
It is not always necessary to disconnect the transformer/inverter when not in use. If
the transformer/inverter is switched on but no current is flowing on the alternating
current side, it only needs negligible current. If you do not need the
transformer/inverter for longer than 3 hours, we recommend you switch it off or
disconnect it.
Fault clearance:

Too little or no
output voltage
Poor connection between

transformer/inverter or
230V is seated too loosely.
Disconnect the
transformer/inverter from
the battery and then
reconnect it.
Using an incorrect type of
multimeter to measure the
output voltage.
Use a multimeter with

Necessary to charge or
replace the battery.
