SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! DO NOT let comfort or familiarity with product (gained from
repeated use) replace strict adherence to the tool safety rules. If you use
this tool unsafely or incorrectly, you can suffer serious personal injury.
1. Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a
specific function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for
an unintended purpose.
2. Use only the hose and factory preset regulator provided with this heater.
3. Use only propane gas set up for vapour withdrawal.
4. Do not use the heater in occupied dwellings, sleeping quarters, campers,
tents, or any type of unvented or enclosed area.
5. Do not use the heater in a basement or below ground level. Propane gas is
heavier than air. If a leak occurs, propane gas will sink to the lowest
possible level.
6. Do not use the heater as a cooking device. Do not place objects on top of
the heater.
7. Keep the heater at least 10 ft. from propane tanks.
8. Never block the air inlet (top of base) or air outlet (around the top of the
shell) of the heater.
9. Never operate the heater while sleeping or while unattended.
10. Keep children and animals away from the heater.
11. Never move, handle or service a hot or operating heater. Severe burns may
result. You must wait 15 minutes after turning the heater off to allow the
heater too cool down.
12. To prevent injury, wear gloves when handling the heater.
13. Always remove the heater from the propane tank after each use.
14. Turn off the propane supply to the heater when not in use.
15. Due to the high surface and exhaust temperatures, adults and children
must observe clearances to avoid burns or clothing ignition.
