CAUTION!
1. To install the bit, pull the retainer in the direction of the arrow and insert the bit into the retainer as far as it will
go. Release the retainer to secure the bit. (See Fig.4)
2. To remove the bit, pull the retainer in the direction of the arrow and pull the bit out firmly.
Note:
If the bit is not inserted deep enough into the retainer, the retainer will not return to its original position
and the bit will not be secured. In this case, try inserting the bit according to the instructions above.
3. To start the machine, simply press the trigger. Increasing pressure on the trigger increases the machine’s speed.
To stop, release the trigger.
4. For reversing the machine, (See Fig.5) use the forward/reverse rod on the drive unit. The directions of the
rotation are also shown on the face of the bar.
5. Always check the direction of rotation before operation.
6. Use the forward/reverse switch only after the machine comes to a complete stop. Changing the direction of
rotation before the machine stops may damage the machine.
7. Select and insert the proper bit. To start operation, hold the impact driver firmly and place the point of the driver
bit in the screw head. Apply forward pressure and hold the drill at 90° to the screw head to prevent stripping
the screw or damaging the bit. Once enough pressure is applied, squeeze the trigger (See Fig. 6)
• Turn the machine off as soon as the impact sound is heard.
• When the battery pack is discharged almost completely, voltage will drop and the tightening torque
will be reduced.
• Driver bit or socket bit: Failure to use the correct size driver bit or socket bit will cause a reduction in
the tightening torque.
• For driving a bolt: Even though the torque coefficient and the class of bolt are the same, the proper
tightening torque will differ according to the diameter of the bolt.
8. The manner of holding the machine or the material of driving position to be tightened will affect the torque.
• Operating the machine at low speed will cause a reduction in the tightening torque.
