ASSEMBLY
Fitting the Feet
•
Carefully turn the unit upside down. Using the
four 12mm screws provided, affix the feet to
the underside of the heater (see right).
OPERATION
•
Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that all switches are set
to the “OFF” position.
•
Insert the plug of the heater into the main socket.
•
Adjust the thermostat to a desired temperature level.
•
Turn on the heating element using the two rocker switches on the side panel. They
will illuminate when the heating elements are on.
•
The third rocker switch can be used to turn the fan on to circulate warm air in the
room when the heating elements are
on (PEL00941 only).
•
The fan can be used with the
heating elements switched off to
help circulate cool air. The switch will
illuminate when the fan is on.
Note:
It is normal when the heater is turned on after a period of no use for it to emit
some odour. This will disappear after the heater has been on for a short time.
USING THE TIMER
•
Set the time by adjusting the clock wheel in a clockwise direction only, so that the
arrow points to the current time.
•
Set the slide switch position to the clock setting.
•
Set the time periods required for heating by sliding
the red teeth outwards. Each tooth represents
approximately 15 minutes.
•
Sliding the teeth back in to the centre will turn
the heater off for that period. To run the heater
continuously set the slide switch to the (I) position.
•
In position “O”, the timer continues to run but no
power is fed to the heater.
