Operation
Prerequisites for operation:
– You have read the chapter
„Safety“ from page EN-5.
– You have prepared the mixer as
described in chapter „First use“
on page EN-11.
WARNING

Never use a damaged ap-
pliance.

The blades of the mixer are
very sharp. Be careful when
working with the blade as-
sembly.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper use of the mixer
can damage it.

Do not overfi ll the smooth-
ie cup.
■
Never add hot or boiling in-
gredients to the smoothie
cup.
■
Do not attempt to knead
dough, puree potatoes or
beat egg whites.
■
Never operate the mixer
when empty.
■
The mixer is designed for
short operation not exceed-
ing 2 minutes. Then let it
cool to room temperature,
or for at least 3 minutes be-
fore resuming operation.
Preparing foods for
blending
For a particularly tasty result we
would recommend that you
– peel and core fruit and vegeta-
bles.
– preferably use soft, fresh fruits
or vegetables.
– cut fruit and vegetables into
small pieces.
Correct mixing method
Your appliance uses two mixing
methods:
– Permanent operation at two
levels. Suitable for most
foods.
If the food to be blended is
very heavy, take a break af-
ter 30 seconds. Depending on
the qualities of the ingredients,
switching the appliance on and
off may lead to the desired re-
sult.
