To remove the Glass Jug (3/9) assembly, turn it anti-clockwise and lift it away from the motor
block (7)
SETTINGS
There are 3 settings
1, 2
and
M (pulse)
.
Setting
1
is low speed and is usually best for liquids or cooked vegetables.
Setting
2
is faster and is usually best when you want to add some air to the mixture e.g. milk
shakes etc.
The (
M
)
pulse
setting allows for more control over the blending/chopping process. There may
be occasions were you don’t want the food pieces to be chopped too finely this setting can also
be used for crushing ice.
NOTE: In pulse mode if you release the switch it will automatically spring back to the
0 (off)
position when released. It is only intended for short powerful bursts not continued use.

Useful Tips
1. To achieve best results when puréeing solid ingredients, place small portions into the glass jug
one at a time and blend between each portion, instead of placing a large quantity in the jug all at
once.
2. If you are processing solid ingredients, cut them into small pieces (2-3cm) first.
3. For solid or very thick liquid ingredients we recommend that you use the blender in (M) pulse
mode first to help break up the food.
