How can I ensure maximum battery life?
Fully charged deep-cycle batteries provide reliable performance and extended battery life. Keep your scooter’s
batteries fully charged whenever possible. Batteries that are regularly and deeply discharged, infrequently charged, or
stored without a full charge may be permanently damaged, causing unreliable performance and limited service life.
REPLACING YOUR SCOOTER’S BATTERIES
Battery Removal
1. Remove the battery pack from the scooter by grasping the battery pack handle and lifting up.
2. Turn the pack upside down.
3. Remove all screws that hold the battery pack halves together.
4. Flip the battery pack back over so the handle is up and remove the lid.
5. Remove the red (+) positive and black (-) negative battery leads from the battery by pulling them straight away
from the battery terminal.
6. Remove the battery or batteries to be replaced.
Battery Replacement
1. Put the new battery or batteries back into the battery pack (battery terminals up).
2. Reconnect the two (2) battery leads to the battery terminals.
