Make sure the location and direction of the storage card is correct when inserting,
otherwise it is easy to cause damage to the storage card.

To avoid incompatibility issues, using major brand memory cards is
recommended.
2.3 Hot plug of memory card
Please do not hot plug the memory card when using or browsing its files.
For example, when you are running the Music/Video Player/ Gallery, the memory
card may be damaged if you push it out directly and the running program will stop
automatically to protect the device. For more information about inserting and

2.4 Memory space
The device features two data storage options; local storage and extended memory card
storage. Local storage appears as “Local” and extended storage card as “SD1” in the
device. The capacity of built-in flash storage is 16GB. The space is partitioned to
store apps, settings and store user data, therefore a small part of storage won't be
available for user. PMP5197 will support microSD cards up to 32GB.
2.5 Power on/off

Power on:
press down the Power Button to turn on the device when the battery is
full enough

Power off:
press down the Power Button for about 3 seconds and then a menu
with options will pop up. Select
Power Off
to turn off the device

Silent Mode:
press down the Power Button for about 3 seconds and then a menu
with options will pop up, select
Silent Mode
and then the device will be mute

Screen Lock:
press down the Power Button for about 3 seconds and then a menu
with options will popup, select
Screen Lock
to shutdown the screen to save
battery life. Press down the Power Button again to activate the locked Home
Screen. After unlocking, the device will return to the same screen that was
displayed before it was locked.
