5.1
Change of Cartridges
Attention!
Do not disassemble the grease gun unless having released the pressure before.
Before disconnecting the grease gun head from the grease gun tube release the pressure
utilizing the ventilation valve on the manual air supply pump, to ensure, that the grease gun
is pressure-less.
Disconnect the grease gun tube from the grease gun head.
Kept the grease gun tube with the empty grease cartridge in an upright
position as shown, operate the manual air supply pump simultaneously.
The empty cartridge will be ejected approximately 3 cm for an easy
exchange.
Remove the grease plunger from the empty cartridge utilizing the pull-
out chain.
Proceed re-filling process as shown in chapter 4.
6. Maintenance/Service
In general, the grease gun
PNEUMA
xx
does not require much service and maintenance at all.
Due to the operator’s duties the following parts will have to be checked regularly for function, to
avoid environmental and material-damages as well as personal harm:
Grease gun head
Screwed connections
Accessories (high pressure hoses, couplers, etc.)
