Using the lance;
The lance nozzle can be adjusted to give a concentrated or wide fan spray pattern.
Care should be taken using the narrow spray pattern that the force of the spray
does not damage the surface being cleaned. Larger areas can be cleaned faster
using a wider fan pattern and the risk of damage to surfaces will be greatly reduced.
Optimal cleaning angle;
When using the lance the maximum effect is achieved by
spraying the water ‘head on’ to the surface but this can
cause dirt particles to become imbedded in the surface
and reducing the cleaning effect. Optimum cleaning is
achieved with an angle of approximately 45 degrees to
the surface being cleaned. This gives the best
combination of spray force and debris removal.
At all times care should be taken to avoid using concentrated spray patterns, steep
spray angles and spraying too close to the surface to reduce the chances of
damaging the cleaning surface.
Using the detergent bottle;
NOTE:
Use only detergents formulated to be used with a pressure washer and test
on a small inconspicuous area prior to full cleaning.
Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on the detergent to water ratio. The
detergent bottle will mix at ratio of approximately 5.4% (1 to 19) and the detergent
should be mixed in the bottle taking this ration into account.
To use the detergent bottle attach to the lance and unscrew the bottle. Fill the bottle
with the correct concentration of detergent and replace bottle on applicator.
Apply the detergent according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
