operate at HI power (1500W). When the room temperature is
less than 1.5°C lower than the thermostat temperature the unit
will then operate at LO power (750W). When the room is at the
desired temperature the heater and fan will stop for a minimum
of 30 seconds. After this time if the room temperature has
dropped below the thermostat temperature the unit will resume
at LO power otherwise it will remain at standby mode till the
room temperature drops sufficiently for the heater to resume.
2. Room Occupation. In ECO mode the PIR sensor is used to
detect the presence of people within the room. The unit will
operate as normal (see point 1 above) until no movement has
been detected for more than 10 minutes. After 10 minutes with
no movement the thermostat will reduce by 3°C. If after 24
hours there is still no movement the thermostat will reduce to
7°C. If at this point the heater detects movement for more than
1 minute it will beep and the thermostat will return to the set
temperature and continue operation.
Timer setting
: The heater has an optional timer, to access the timer press the up
and down buttons simultaneously for more than 3s, the display will show 0.
You can use the arrow buttons to set the operating time for the unit in 1 hour
intervals between 0 - 24hrs. The display will return to normal showing the
thermostat temperature if no button is pressed for more than 5s. Once the
countdown time has elapsed the unit will switch off and return to standby mode.
When the heater is used for the first time you may notice that the unit emits a little
smoke, this is normal and will stop after a few minutes. Do not touch the air output
grille when the heater is in operation, because it will be hot and may cause burns.
Unplug the heater from the mains supply when not in use.
