6.  Control Unit Firmware Upgrading

Control unit firmware may be upgraded by means of the TTD3000Pro programme.
Upgrades are available at Prastel’s web site, www.prastel.it.

Connect control unit connector DB9  to a PC serial port, using the cable provided.
Access the TTD3000Pro programme and select the serial port to which the control unit has been connected.

Upgrades always require a Flash file and sometimes an EEprom file, as well.
Press the “Flash file” (

) key and select the most updated version of the MTFlash.hex file.

In the event of the upgrade calling for an EEprom file as well, press the “EEprom file” (

) key and

select the most updated version of the MTEEprom.hex file.
Press the “Program on reset” (

) key.

The programme is now ready for upgrade transmission to the control unit. Press the RESET key (card top left-
hand corner) of the control unit to proceed.
A beep will be heard and the following messages will appear on the control unit display (optional):

The upgraded firmware has at this point been downloaded and after a few seconds the control unit picks up
again and is ready to operate.
