Mute (Silent Mode)

Sound on your camcorder is enabled by default, you can use the mute function to disable it.

1. Press the MODE button to enter the main menu. 

2. Tap the SETUP icon on the screen to enter the Setup menu. 

3. Tap the SILENT MODE icon on the screen to enter the menu. 

4. Touch the screen and select on or off.

5. Tap the green arrow key to confirm the setting and exit this menu.

6. Tap the green arrow key again to revert back to your main viewing screen.

Auto Off

You can set the auto power off time to help save battery charges. After setting the auto off time, the camera will turn off automatically 

if no operation is performed.

1. Press the MODE button to enter the main menu. 

2. Tap the SETUP icon on the screen to enter the Setup menu. 

3. Tap the AUTO OFF icon on the screen to enter the menu. 

4. Press the Zoom In/Out buttons or tap the corresponding icon on the touchscreen to select a setting. 

5. Tap the green arrow key to confirm the setting and exit this menu.

6. Tap the green arrow key again to revert back to your main viewing screen.

Note: If Off is selected, the camera will turn off automatically when the battery is out of power.

Frequency

Generally 50Hz is for European countries and Asia. The 60Hz setting is for USA and countries in the same region. The default is 50HZ.

1. Press the MODE button to enter the main menu. 

2. Tap the SETUP icon on the screen to enter the Setup menu. 

3. Tap the FREQUENCY icon on the screen to enter the menu. 

4. Touch the screen and select 50Hz or 60Hz.

5. Tap the green arrow key to confirm the setting and exit this menu.

6. Tap the green arrow key again to revert back to your main viewing screen.

TV Mode

Connect your camcorder to a TV using the HDMI cable provided.

Default Settings

If your camera is corrupt, or you would like to reset to the default settings, you can set this function to restore all the settings to the 

factory default.

1. Press the MODE button to enter the main menu. 

2. Tap the SETUP icon on the screen to enter the Setup menu. 

3. Tap the DEFAULT icon on the screen to enter the menu. 

4. Touch the screen and select YES or NO.

4. Once the operation is complete, you will be returned back to the setup menu.

5. Tap the green arrow key on the bottom to revert back to your main viewing screen.

Download Files to Your Computer

1. Connect your camcorder to a computer with the included USB cable 

2. Select “MSDC” and press PHOTO capture button on the top of the camcorder.

3. On your computer, go into “My Computer” from the “Start” menu.

Look under the “Removable Disk” or “Devices with Removable Storage” group, and the name of your memory card will be displayed. 

4. Double click on “Removable Disk” or the name of your memory card, and continue through the categorized folders until you can 

access your media.

5. You may now highlight all the files you wish to transfer to your computer.
