Safety instructions
• Ex installation:
For a safe installation of 6334B in hazardous area the following must be
observed. The module must only be installed by qualified personnel who are
familiar with the national and international laws, directives and standards that
apply to this area.
Year of manufacture can be taken from the first two digits in the serial number.
The sensors circuit are not infallibly galvanically isolated from the supply
and output circuits. However, the galvanic isolation between the circuits is
capable of withstanding a test voltage of 500 Vac during 1 minute.
For applications in explosive atmospheres caused by gases, vapours or hazes
and where category 1G apparatus is required, electrostatic charges on the
housing of the 2-wire Programmable Transmitter shall be avoided.
It is required that at least the supply and output circuits (terminals 11..13,
respectively 21..23) are kept isolated from ground.
