STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store the UPS covered and positioned as for proper functioning, in a cool, dry location, with
its batteries fully charged. Disconnect any cables connected to the computer interface port to
avoid unnecessary battery drainage.
EXTENDED STORAGE
At -15 to +30 °C (+5 to +86 °F), charge the UPS battery every six months. At +30 to +45 °C
(+86 to +113 °F), charge the UPS battery every three months.
Once the battery is disconnected, the loads are not protected from power outages.
REMOVING THE FRONT BEZEL AND BATTERY MODULE
The battery module is accessible from the front of the UPS. This procedure requires a
Phillips screwdriver.
