Installing the PowerLeap™
PL-K6-III

This chapter describes installing a CPU in your PowerLeap upgrade adapter,
installing the adapter in your computer, and attaching the provided CPU
heatsink/fan.

To compare the performance increase provided by the PL-K6-III CPU upgrade
adapter, we suggest running the PowerLeap CPU Control Panel

®

both before and

after installation. If you are uncertain about the speed of your existing CPU, you
can determine the speed by running the PowerLeap CPU Control Panel

®

.
