Before use
Charging the product
Note:
Remove all packaging materials from the product.
Note:
You can recharge the product using a normal household socket
or using your car‘s 12 V connection.
Note:
The fuse of the car charger adapter
12
can be exchanged.
The technical data of the fuse must comply with information given in
the section “Technical data”. The fuse may only be replaced by a
qualified electrician.
CAUTION!
Do not connect the product to your car‘s 12 V connection
if the car battery is already old and worn. Doing so could mean that
the car engine will no longer start.
Note:
In order to use the product without a USB cable

, you need
to recharge the rechargeable battery before use. The charging process
takes about 4 to 5 hours. The rechargeable battery is firmly integrated
into the base of the product.
Note:
Charge the product for approx. 12 hours prior to first use.
Connect the USB cable

with the USB connector of the power
adapter

or the car charger adapter

Connect the micro-USB connector on the USB cable

to the
micro-USB input socket

on the product.
Plug the power adapter

into a socket, or plug the car charger
adapter

into the 12 V socket in your vehicle.
Note:
During charging, the charging indicator

lights up red. When
charging is complete, the charging indicator

lights up green. When
the charging indicator

is green, pull the power adapter

out of
the socket or the car charger adapter

from the 12 V connection.
Disconnect the mains adapter and car charger adapter from the prod-
uct to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.
Use
RISK OF ACCIDENT!
Preferably do not use the product whilst
driving the vehicle. When using the product in a vehicle, be sure this does
not endanger the driver or the passengers. Always store and secure the
product so that even full braking does not pose a risk of injury from the
product or product damage.
The product may be secured with the hook

or by securing it to
a flat, ferromagnetic surface using the magnetic base

magnet

at the back. Use the joint

to tilt the product up to
180 ° on the magnetic base

CAUTION!
Please note the position of your hands whilst turning
the magnetic base

to prevent pinching your fingers (see Fig. C).
