7. Lift the moveable arm to make sure it rotates smoothly. Lay it down
again and insert a pin (#17) through the front bolt holes and secure
with an R-pin (#16).
8. Slide a washer (#14) onto each M14x65 bolt (#19). Insert each bolt
through a mounting arm (#21), then the mounting plate (#22).
9. Secure each protruding bolt on the back with an M14 nut (#23) and
M14 washer (#20).
10. Insert the head mounting plate (#22) through the post’s round tube.
Pull up the pin (#1) to allow the plate to fully seat. Release the pin.
11. Screw the handle (#2) into the hole in the mount plate’s tube.
OPERATION
WARNING! Use a lifting device such as a shop crane to position the load
to the engine stand.
1. Before attaching the load to the engine stand, lock the Head Mounting
Plate (#22) in place with the pin (#1).
2. Attach the rear of the engine block to the mounting head securely with
the appropriate bolts (sold separately) according to the vehicle
manufacturer’s specifications.
3. Make sure that the load is centered and secured to the mounting plate
before removing the lifting device.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier
to control and will have fewer problems.
2. Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
3. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
5. Make sure that the Head Mounting Plate (#22) and the Mounting Arms
(#21) are clean and clear of dirt, debris, and grease.
6. Check all of the hardware periodically and tighten if necessary.
