11. Make sure there is enough clearance around the engine stand and the
load for movement.
12. Check to ensure that all applicable bolts and nuts are firmly tightened.
13. If the engine stand needs repairing or any parts need to be replaced,
have it repaired by an authorized service technician. Use only
manufacturers recommended replacement parts.
UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the
missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a
malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage.
Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
Consult the Parts Breakdown while assembling the engine stand.
1. Attach the post (#4) to the rear beam with two M12x70 bolts (#7)
horizontally and two M12x105 bolts (#6) vertically on each side. Secure
all four bolts with flat washers (#9) and M12 nuts (#8).
2. Attach both 3-1/2 in. casters (#10) to the rear beam axles with an
M12x70 bolt (#7), washer (#9) and M12 nut (#8).
3. Insert the stem of the 2.5 in. caster (#11) through front of the post’s
open channel. Secure with a washer (#9) and M12 nut (#8).
4. Attach the front beam (#14) to the moveable leg (#15) two M12x70
bolts (#7) horizontally and two M12x105 bolts (#6) vertically. Secure all
four bolts with flat washers (#9) and M12 nuts.
5. Attach both 3 in. casters (#12) to the front beam and secure each with a
spring washer (#13), washer (#9), and nut (#8).
6. Lay the moveable arm into the post’s open channel. Align the rear bolt
holes in each. Insert an M12x70 bolt (#7) through both bolt holes and
secure with a flat washer (#9) and an M12 nut.
