IMPORTANT! The red trigger lock must be in place to prevent accidental
activation of the water pressure gun. Flip the red lever on the trigger up so it
rests in the depression in the handle. Aim the spray gun in a safe direction and
test the trigger to ensure the lock is working.
To start your pressure washer for the first time, follow these instructions step-by-
step. This starting information also applies if you have let the pressure washer sit
idle for at least a day.
1. Place pressure washer near an outside water source capable of supplying
water at a flow rate greater than 4.2 gallons per minute (15,90 litres per
minute) and no less than 20 PSI at the pressure water pump inlet.
a. Place the water hose in a pail (1 gallon or 3.78 litres) and time how long
it takes to fill. The pail must be filled in 15 seconds or less to supply the
minimum water to the pump on this pressure washer.
2. Check that high pressure hose is tightly connected to the spray gun and
the pump.
3. Make sure unit is in a level position.
4. Uncoil high pressure hose completely before using the pressure washer.
5. Connect the garden hose to pump’s water inlet.
6. Remove the spray gun by rotating the handle 90° to the left or right and sliding
it sideways out of the gun/hose hook.
7. Engage the spray gun trigger lock if not already set.
a. Press a thumb against the back of the trigger to prevent it from moving.
b. Pull the red trigger lock lever upwards.
c. Release the thumb pressure and guide
the trigger lock into the handle
depression. Aim spray gun in a safe
direction and pull trigger to test if the
lock is working.
