SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES

• Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tools may 

contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the 
tools “live” and shock the operator.

  This tool is supplied with a fitted plug. Do not use an extension or replacement cord. Have 

damaged or worn power cord and strain relievers replaced immediately with same type and 
size wire at qualified service.

  Never wear gloves while working.

3.

  For your own safety, wear safety glasses or goggles.

4.

  Do not use in damp or wet locations. Do not operate tool in explosive atmosphere, such as in the 

presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tool creates sparks, which may cause fire or 
explosive.

  Insulation measurement must be done when the tool is re-used after stored for a long time. If the 

insulation resistance between winding and body less than 7 M

, it must be dried before used.

After several uses, the brushes may become too worn, when sparks start appearing, it is time to 
replace the brushes. Otherwise the motor may become damaged.

Operation Instructions

inStalling and changing drill bitS

•  Clean the shivers and any other foreign objects away from the bit and chuck, otherwise the bit might 

be partially clogged and unable to be tightened securely. This could induce severe personal injuries.

•  Insert the bit into the chuck, making sure that the bit is in as far as it will go.
•  Place the chuck key in each of the 3 holes, then tighten all three jaws of the chuck by rotating the 

chuck key clockwise.

 

Warning: The length of the drill bit chucked by the drill chuck must not be less than 1/3 of the 

general length.

•  When dismantling the drill bit, loosen the 3 jaws with the chuck key, then move out the drill bit.

 

note: always remove chuck key from the holes before starting drill.

d-handlE aSSEmbly:

This D-handle can be attached either horizontally or vertically. Place the handle into the locking base on the 
back of the drill and assemble with holding knob.

SidE handlE:

The side handle can be placed in either side of the drill or the top of the drill according to operator preference 
and available working clearance. The D-handle can be temporarily removed if working clearance at rear of the 
tool is limited, always replace D-handle when possible.

CAUTION: Always use the side handle and switch handle. This is a high-torque drill. 

always hold it firmly with both hands when operation.
