Loosen the lock knob and turn the turntable (10)
until the chain is at the required angle in relation
to the grinding disc (maximum 35° to right or
left; check the angle gauge (11)). This angle is the
grinding angle, which differs from chain to chain
(if necessary, read the chain manufacturer’s
instructions). Tighten the lock knob again once
the angle is set.
Lower the top (6) so the grinding disc (3) touches
the chain link. Hold the top down and adjust the
depth limit (5) so that the grinding disc cannot
lower any further
Set how much you want to grind off the chain link
by loosening or tightening the adjustment knob
(14). Lock the adjustment knob using the locking
nut (15) once the required setting has been found.
Lock the chain in the chain rail by turning the
lock handle (12).
If the chain has been ground before, and the teeth
are lower than the spacers on the chain, these
must be filed using a chainsaw file (not included)
until they are lower than the teeth.
Grinding
Check that all the settings have been made
correctly as described above.
Switch on using the on/off button on the motor
(1) and allow the grinder to reach full speed before
beginning work.

INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Lower the upper part slowly and evenly using the
handle (18), and release the chain link. Do not
hold the top down too long.
Lift the top and switch off the chain grinder.
Undo the lock handle and move the chain in the
chain rail until the next link is under the chain
stop. Be careful, as the chain may get hot during
grinding!
Tighten the handle and grind the new chain link as
described above.
Continue in this way until all the chain links have
been ground at the set angle.
If the chain links are also to be ground at a
different angle, you must set the chain grinder to
the new angle as described above in the
Preparations section and grind the entire chain
again.
Turn off the chain grinder and unplug once you
have finished grinding.
