INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Introduction
To get the most out of your new bench grinder,
please read these instructions and the enclosed
safety instructions before use. Please also save
theinstructions, as you may need to refer to them
at a later date.

Special safety instructions
Always use the correct type of grinding stone for
the type of work to be performed.
Never used damaged stones.
Never use oversized stones.
Never put your hands in the vicinity of the
working area while the grinder is rotating. Never
allow hands or fingers holding the item to be
worked to get near to the grinder while it is
rotating.
Always keep the spindle and flange clean.
Never allow the grinding stone or steel brush to be
in contact with the item to be worked - or other
objects - when starting the machine.
Do not touch metal filings until they have cooled.
Do not leave the machine before the grinding
stone has come to a complete standstill. Please
note that it takes a little while for the stone to
come to a complete standstill after you have
switched the machine off.
Assembly and preparation
Attach the base (5) to the workbench using
suitable bolts. Check that the grinder is securely
attached and level. If required, a piece of soft
wood can be inserted between the base and the
workbench to damp vibrations.
Fit the two rests (3) using the adjustment handles,
and secure them in the desired position.
Fit the two spark screens (1) on their mounting
brackets (2) above the protective guards. The gap
between the rest (3) and stones must be no greater
than 2 mm when the grinder is in use.
Insert plug in mains socket.
