ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS

General

Remove the lawn mower from the 
carton.

Remove loose parts included with mower.

Cut down two end corners of carton and lay end panel 
down flat.

Remove all packing materials, except padding 
between upper and lower handle and padding holding 
the engine brake handle to upper handle.

Roll the lawn mower out of the carton and make sure 
that no loose parts are left within the carton.

Handle

Operating position

Raise the lower handle section to operating position. 
Align the handle with the angled indentation in the 
handle brackets slot in the handle bracket to set a 
comfortable height position for the handle.

Tighten the lower handlebar knobs.

Remove protective padding, raise the upper handle 
section into place on the lower handle and tighten 
both upper knobs.

Remove any packing material from around engine 
brake handle.

Vertical handle storage

The handle can be set in a vertical storage position.

Loosen the lower handle knobs.

Rotate the handle to vertical storage indentation on 
the handle bracket.

Retighten the knobs.

Storage/Transport position

The handle assembly can be folded to minimize space 
needed for transport and storage.

Loosen the 2 handle knobs on the upper handle and 
allow handle to fold down to the rear.

Loosen the 2 handle knobs on the lower handle and 
pivot entire handle assembly forward and allow it to 
rest on mower.

!

WARNING! Prevent unintentional starting 
by removing the ignition cable from the 
spark plug.

CAUTION! This lawn mower is shipped without oil or 
gasoline in the engine.

CAUTION! Take care not to damage the cables and 
wires when you unfold the handlebar.
