The POTEK Smart Ba�ery Charger BC0401 have eight steps in each charge mode,it represents some

It is quite possibly the safest and most efficient charger you will ever use. The BC0401 have REPAIR
mode ,you can use this mode to recovery storing, old, idle, damaged, stra�fied or sulfated ba�eries.
It is designed for charging all types of 12V lead-acid, including Wet(Flooded), Gel, MF(Mainte-
nance-Free), CA(Calcium), EFB(Enhanced Flooded Ba�ery), AGM(Absorp�on Glass Mat) and 6V
lead-acid ba�rty. It is suitable for charging ba�ery capaci�es from 2 to 120 Amp-Hours and maintain-
ing all ba�ery sizes.
Before using the charger, carefully read the ba�ery manufacturer's specific precau�ons and recom-
mended rates of charge for the ba�ery. Make sure to determine the voltage and chemistry of the
ba�ery by referring to your ba�ery owner's manual prior to charging.
Use of an a�achment not recommended or sold by the ba�ery charger manufacturer may result in

To reduce risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by plug rather than cord when disconnect-
ing charger.
An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord
could result in a risk of fire and electric shock.
Do not operate charger with damaged cord or plug-replace the cord or plug immediately Do not
operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way;
take it to a qualified serviceman.
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug charger from outlet before a�emp�ng any maintenance or
cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.
Use charger for charging a LEAD-ACID ba�ery only. It is not intended to supply power to a low
voltage electrical system other than in a starter-motor applica�on. Do not use ba�ery charger for
charging dry-cell ba�eries that are commonly used with home appliances. These ba�eries may
burst and cause injury to persons and damage to property.
Remove personal metal items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches when working with
ba�eries. Ba�eries produce a short-circuit current high enough to weld a ring or other similar
objects to metal, causing a severe burn.
Someone should be within range of your voice, or close enough to come to your aid when you work
near ba�eries, Wear eye protec�on and clothing protec�on. Avoid touching your eyes while
working near ba�eries.
Have plenty of fresh water and soap nearby in case ba�ery acid contacts skin, clothing, and eyes.
Keep a supply of baking soda on hand in the area of the ba�eries. Baking soda neutralizes lead-acid
ba�ery electrolyte.
If ba�ery acid contacts skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water. If acid enters your
eyes, immediately flood them with running cold water for at least twenty minutes and get medical
a�en�on immediately.
DO NOT a�empt to fix the unit by disassembling or modifica�on. You can cause self injury and
disassembling and modifying the unit will void your warranty.
