2.  For long storage, it is recommended to store a fully 

charged battery pack in a cool dry place out of the 
charger for optimal results.

nOTE:

 Battery packs should not be stored completely 

depleted of charge. The battery pack will need to be 
recharged before use.

INTENDED USE

The vacuum is designed to operate only on a 
PORTER-CABLE 20V Max* Li-Ion battery pack. Battery pack 
and charger are sold separately. 

DO nOT

 use under wet conditions or in presence of 

flammable liquids or gases.

DO nOT

 let children come into contact with the tool. 

Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use 
this tool.
The vacuum is designed to perform as a wet/dry unit 
with no component changes required when changing 
from wet to dry, or dry to wet pick up. This vacuum is for 
household  use only.
It is recommended that the tank be emptied of any dry 
contents prior to being used for wet pick up to facilitate 
tank cleaning.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

 

WARNING:

 To reduce the risk of 

serious personal injury, turn unit off and remove 
the battery pack before making any adjustments 

or removing/installing attachments or 
accessories.

 An accidental start-up can cause injury.

Attaching vacuum hose (Fig. B)

The vacuum hose

 will need to be attached to the 

vacuum before using the appliance.

1.  Place the vacuum on a flat, firm surface.
2.  Unlatch tank latches

 and remove power head from 

the tank. Remove the hose

  from the tank. 

3.  Align the hose end

 with the intake port

 on the 

front of the appliance, ensuring the hose alignment lock

  is aligned with the arrow

 on the intake port.

4.  Insert the hose end into the intake port and twist 

clockwise to lock in place.

5.  Replace power head onto the tank and secure latches.

nOTE: 

The power head will only fit onto the tank when the 

intake port on the front of the power head and the storage 
area for the wide nozzle tool on the tank are aligned as 
shown in 

figure B

OPERATION

nOTE:

 For best results, make sure your battery pack is 

fully charged.

 

CAUTION:

 

Ensure battery port and 

terminals are dry and clean before installing battery 
pack.

To install the battery pack

 into the power head, align 

the battery pack with the rails inside the tool’s battery port

  until the battery pack is firmly seated in the tool and 

ensure that it does not disengage.
