Poolrite Equipment Pty. Limited

Your  Poolrite  Filtration  Equipment  is
manufactured  to  the  highest  possible
standards and most up-to-date technology.
Accordingly  the  equipment  carries  the
following  Warranty,  should  a  fault  occur
due to faulty manufacture or materials.

Important

In  the  event  of  a  fault  covered  by
Warranty occurring, the Purchaser must,
in  the  first  instance,  contact  Poolrite
Equipment  Pty.  Ltd.  or  the  closest
authorised Poolrite Distributor.

1. All  components  in  the  Filtration

System (with the exception of the tank
part) carry 1 year (12 months) warranty
from  the  Date  of  Purchase  by  the
Owner.

2. (10  year  extended  warranty  effective

from 1-1-93).

The  Filter  Tank  Component  is  the  most
important part of your Filter System. Due
to 

Poolrite’s 

Advanced 

Moulding

Technology  the  Tank  Part  carries  a
special  Extended  Warranty  of  10  years.
The  terms  of  this  Warranty  cover  Full
replacement of defective Filter Tank Part
for  a  period  of  5  years  (60  months)  and
additionally  for  a  further  5  years  (60
months) the Tank Part will be replaced at
pro-rata  cost  from  the  date  of  purchase
by  the  owner.  No  claim  in  pursuance  of
this  Warranty  will  be  recognised  unless
received  by  Poolrite  during  the  Warranty
period.

The  “Tank  Part”  is  defined  as  the  Filter
Housing  Moulding  only,  without  any
attachments  such  as  gauges,  clamp
band,  internal  septums  fittings  or
plumbing, etc.

3. The  Warranty  is  void  if  the  following

are not adhered to:

• The  equipment  must  be  installed  and

used in accordance with the instructions
supplied.

• The  pump  electric  motor  is  not

covered by this Warranty in the case of
the water damage or damage caused
by extension leads.

• The  pump  motor  must  have  proper

ventilation.

• The equipment is designed to be used

in  swimming  pool  water,  balanced  in
accordance 

with 

the 

Langlier

Saturation Index with a pH of 6.8 to 8.0
that is regularly treated with a sanitising
system  utilising  chlorine  either  added
in compound form or generated in situ
in concentrations as recommended by
the relative State Health Departments. 
Should  other  chemical  treatment
systems  or  parameters  be  used,
Poolrite  will  not  be  responsible  for
damage  done  by  corrosion,  scaling
or  stress  cracking  of  equipment  or
for  shortened  filter  cycles  resulting
therefrom.

• The  Pressure  Gauge  will  not  be

covered  by  Warranty  if  damaged  by
water,  if  the  gauge  cover  is  not  firmly
affixed.

• If,  in  the  opinion  of  Poolrite,  the

equipment  has  been  subjected  to
other  than  normal  pool  use,  or
improperly  serviced/maintained,  the
Warranty will be void.

This  Warranty  is  applicable  to  workman-
ship and materials. Poolrite will replace at
no charge, all parts returned freight paid,
which  display  faulty  workmanship  or
materials.

Poolrite  Equipment  Pty.  Ltd.  accepts  no
responsibility for loss, damage or injury to
person or property arising from Warranty
failure of equipment, or installation of that
equipment,  unless  with  the  express
authority  of  Poolrite.  Any  repair  or
replacement shall be provided by Poolrite
or  its  Authorised  Distributors  and  this
Warranty  shall  not  extend  to  any
expenditure otherwise incurred.

Operational Check Points

Weatherproof gauge cover is in position.

Filter pump should not be connected via extension leads.

At least 150mm clearance be provided at fan cowl end (rear) of motor for efficient
ventilation.

Should filter system be housed in an enclosure, provision must be made for
adequate ventilation.

Filter system must be installed in a position with effective drainage to guard against
potential flooding in heavy rain or malfunctions in plumbing.

A Diatomaceous Earth Filter system must not be run for any period without the
correct charge of Diatomaceous Earth or approved filter powder.

The pool water level must be at least half way up the skimmer box opening.

Make sure both skimmer box basket and pump basket are in place.

Do not operate the filter system in FILTER position unless the free chlorine level is
between 0.5 and 2.0ppm and the pH level is between 7.2 and 7.6 for concrete
pools and 6.8 and 7.2 for other types of pools.

Do not vacuum clean the pool when the valve is in BACKWASH position.

Important

Read the following instructions carefully to ensure trouble free efficient operation
of your filtration system for many years.

Failure to adhere to the above directions will void the Warranty.
