ALARM

ALARM

Oval Shaped Pools

WARNING

Every pool is different. The alarm must be tested immediately upon installation to ensure the positioning

of the alarm fits its specific environment. Improper positioning of the alarm or return fitting may result in false alarms.

MOUNTING THE ALARM

1) Locate the section of the pool where the alarm

will be installed.

2) Remove one of the top seat caps from the

identified pool section as in Figure 1.

NOTE:

The mounting bracket can be adjusted if the top

rail of the wall is wider than the defaulted setting.
Remove the support screws to make this adjustment as
shown in Figures 2 and 2A.

3) Remove the screws from the top seat and lift

that end of the top seat as in Figure 3.

4) Loosen the mounting bracket screws and slide

the alarm onto the top rail and position it in the
center of that wall section as in Figure 4.

5) Install the mounting bracket spacer and tighten the

mounting bracket screws until the alarm is secure
against the pool wall as in Figure 5.

IMPORTANT:

The alarm must be installed in a vertical

position to perform properly.

6) Using the siren mounting template and screws

(double-sided tape can also be used), mount the
siren to the outside of the nearest upright as in
Figure 6 (a pilot hole may need to drilled for the
screws).

WARNING

: Do not drill into the pool wall. The siren is to

be mounted to the outside of the pool’s upright support.

7) Position the wire leading to the alarm siren in the

channel provided in mounting bracket, and reinstall
the top seat and cap as in Figure 7.
