The Programmable Zone Control Packs allow all
rooms to be individually controlled for both time
and temperature.
When using The Single Zone Pack (PB1ZP) no
Actuators are required, however actuators
(PB00401) will be required for all other packs.
A Zone Valve installed on the flow to the manifold
is always required.
The Master Unit provides wiring connections for
The Boiler (incl. Volt Free), Zone Valve, UFH pump,
Valve actuators and The Programmable Room Stat.
The Power Supply to the unit must come from the
230v - 50Hz Supply from main heating isolator.
The Programmable room stat can be installed
outside wet areas and connected to the Wet area
sensor (PB23020) where this is required.

Overview
The Programmable Room Thermostat controls and
regulates the room temperature. The thermostats
should be positioned 1·2m from the floor and away
from other heat producing appliances.
Note
Programmable Room Thermostats differ in operation
from conventional Room Controls as they not only set
a maximum room temperature but also set a
minimum temperature that the room temperature is
allowed to fall to.
This is particularly important when controlling floor
heating systems as the heating response is slower
than that of conventional radiators.
