To connect accessories for suction only (
I-F-M-Q-
R-T-TB
), simply connect them without hooking
them up using the locknut.
CAUTION: in this case it is important to dis-
connect the steam function by using the safety
device (A3) in order to prevent the steam leak-
ing.
TELESCOPIC TUBE (H)
You may adjust the length of the telescopic tube
from a minimum of about 60cm to a maximum of 1
metre. Press button (
H1
) and extend or reduce
length as desired.
MINI TURBO BRUSH (I)
The mini turbo brush is particularly recommended
for cleaning sofas and armchairs, car upholstery,
fabric-covered walls, etc.
It easily removes dust, dandruff and textile resi-
dues. It is useful for preventing allergies, as the
mechanical action of the roller with bristles va-
cuums up animal hair.
The mini turbo brush also has a hard rubber bri-
stle attachment, useful on more difficult dirt. To re-
move the bristle attachment, press the two pivots
found on the side of the brush and then remove it
(fig.G)
(don't use the bristle attachment on delicate surfa-
ces)
To clean the mini turbo brush, turn the nut and re-
move the upper part of the mini turbo brush, as
shown in fig. H. Clean the inside of the brush and
refit it by following these steps in reverse.
UPHOLSTERY NOZZLE (Q)
recommended for cleaning fabric surfaces such
as the seams in sofas, armchairs, mattresses.
NB DO NOT USE ON DRAYLON OR SIMILAR
DELICATE SURFACES
SUCTION BRUSH (T)
recommended for dusting delicate surfaces such
as frames, books, etc. using soft bristles.
TURBO BRUSH (TB)
The turbo brush uses a turbine system which ope-
rates on suction power only, without electricity.
The turbo brush increases the effectiveness and
efficiency of suction on soft furnishings such as
carpets and fitted carpeting since it combines suc-
tion with a mechanical action to remove dust and
dirt (organic and inorganic) and fibres (hair, etc.).
By using the turbo-brush on carpets you can re-
fresh the fibres thanks to the action of the roller,
which separates them so that the cleaner can re-
ach right down into the carpets.
The turbo brush can be used as a traditional brush
on hard surfaces since it has a by-pass system
which diverts the air flow directly to the suction
pipe.
The mechanical rotary action of the turbo
brush is ideal for removing animal hair from
hard surfaces, rugs and carpets, even shag
carpets.
Use:
A cursor on the back of the turbo brush per-
mits you to adapt it to any kind of surface: slide the
cursor (
TB1
) to the left for hard surfaces, and slide
it to the right for carpets and fitted carpeting. The
cursor adjusts the speed of the turbine system:
when it is moved completely to the right, the tur-
bine works at the maximum rotation speed, while
when it is moved completely to the left there is no
rotation and the brush operates as a normal floor
brush.
The turbine can be easily accessed for cleaning
thanks to the practical flap (fig.E).
If using the turbo brush on shag carpets and/or
when you want the brush roller to move faster, you
may remove the rubber profile from the front of the
brush (fig. F).
PARQUET BRUSH (PQ) (OPTIONAL)
The parquet brush is designed to clean delicate
surfaces and therefore has bristles and wheels in
material specially selected to avoid damaging
such surfaces.
JOKER BRUSH (F) (OPTIONAL)
With the Joker brush it is possible to remove all
types of solid or liquid dirt, and it will work on any
type of surface.
PARQUET ACCESSORY (G)
(OPTIONAL)
This accessory is for use solely with the Joker
brush.
Put the joker brush into place on the parquet ac-
cessory as illustrated in figure 12. Apply the brush
to the accessory as indicated by the arrow so that
the two pieces fit onto each other and then hook
them together. To unhook the parquet accessory
from the joker brush pull the two levers on the
sides of the fitting outwards and then lift the brush
off (Fig. 13).
