• Always make sure that the appliance is

unplugged before performing any mainte-
nance on it. 

• Let bristles cool down in their natural posi-

tion after using brushes to prevent defor-
mation.

• Periodically inspect the gaskets on the unit

plug (

). Replace them with original spare

parts when necessary. Also inspect the
gaskets on the extension tubes (

) and

handle (

) connections. Clean the outside

of the appliance with a damp cloth,do not
use solvents or detergents, which could
damage the plastic surface.

IMPORTANT: 

The filter on the air outlet is

washable. Proceed as follows to wash it:

• Open the filter cover (

M

).

• Move the filter retainer aside and remove

the air outlet filter (

Q

) from its housing

(fig.9).

• Rinse the filter in cold water. Shake it gen-

tly to remove excess water and residual
dirt.

NOTE:

let the filter air-dry far away from light

and heat sources. It is advisable to wait 24
hours before putting the filter back into the ap-
pliance. 

• Replace the filter if it is torn.
• The filter should be cleaned once every 4

months.

• insert the filter and lock it in place with the

retainer again. 

IMPORTANT:

• Do not clean the filter with a brush as this

could damage it and decrease its filtering
capacity. 

• Do not use detergent, do not rub the filter,

and do not wash it in the dishwasher.
