You will find two springs inside the chamber, one attached to
the steam outlet nozzle (

9c

), the other to the steam cham-

ber. Clean the steam chamber using the spiral cleaning
brush (

F

) supplied with the appliance. Make sure that the

chamber is cold before you start cleaning (fig. 5).

Insert the spiral brush into the steam chamber, then turn it clock-
wise as you pull it out.

When the steam chamber is not regularly cleaned, the steam
nozzle may become clogged with mineral residues. If this hap-
pens, the steam pressure inside the chamber increases and
trips the safety valve to release the excess steam. Should this
occur, stop using the appliance and allow it to cool. Then discon-
nect the power cable and clean the steam chamber as de-
scribed above.

After using the steam brush, disconnect it from the power
socket and allow it to cool. Remember to empty the water tank
each time you finish using it.  Store your CINDERELLA STEAM in
a dry place.

In case of breakdown or malfunction do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself but refer to your nearest authorised service
centre.
If repairs or replacement parts are required, use only original
Polti replacement parts.
The appliance is fitted with a safety thermostat, which should
only be replaced by an authorised service centre, since the use
of a special tool is need is necessary.

This unit is designed to operate on 240V, 50 Hz current only.
Connecting it to other power sources may damage the unit.

WARNING - This appliance must be earthed.

This appliance may be fitted with a non rewirable plug, if it is
necessary to change the fuse in a non rewirable plug the fuse
cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged, the
plug must not be used until a replacement, available from the
appliance manufacturer, is obtained. It is important that the
colour of the replacement fuse cover corresponds with the
colour marking on the base of the plug.
If the plug requires to be changed because it is not suitable for
your socket, or becomes damaged, it should be cut off and an
appropriate plug fitted following the wiring instruction (below).
The plug removed must be disposed of safely as insertion into a
13A socket is likely to cause an electrical hazard.

IMPORTANT

These wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code.

• Green-and-yellow: Earth

• Blue: Neutral

• Brown: Live

As the colours of the wires in the mains leads of this appliance
may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected
to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter “E” or
by the earth symbol or green-and-yellow.
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the ter-
minal which is marked with the letter “N” or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the ter-
minal which is marked with the letter “L” or coloured red.
