MAINTENANCE
• Before attempting any maintenance operation,
make sure to always disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• To clean the body of the appliance, simply use a
moist cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents as
these could damage the plastic surfaces.
• Empty the capsules collection drawer (
5c
) and
the drip tray (
5b
) regularly.
• Wash the accessories with water and detergent.
• Never wash any part in a dishwasher.
• Do not leave water inside the reservoir if you are
not going to use the machine for a long time.
• For the best hygiene it is recommended to wash
the reservoir every day
CLEANING THE INTERNAL CIRCUITS
• For the maintenance of your Polti’s coffee ma-
chine, it is recommended to clean the internal
circuits every 2/3 days.
Carry out the cleaning following the same pro-
cess used for coffee preparation :
- Open the capsule compartment lever (
1
). In-
side the compartment there should already be
a capsule; make sure it falls down into the col-
lection drawer. Close the lever pushing it until
the end.
- Press the coffee switch / delivery indicator light
(

). A few moments later the water will start to
come out. Continue till the water released is as
much as the content of a cup of coffee.
TIPS:
Place a cup under the coffee dispenser.
To degrease and decalcify your Polti capsule coffee-
marker, we recommend using the Clean Espresso clea-
ning kit.
Clean Epsresso cleans and protects, extending the life of
your coffeemarker thanks to two new, specifically desi-
gned formulas (decalcifying and degreasing).

selling Polti’s coffee machine or at
