EASY HOOKUPS AND SIMPLE CONTROLS

LED

—A light that shines green, orange or red 

to indicate operating status.

Power

—Turns on the SurroundBar

®

SDA

®

or puts 

it in standby mode.

Mute

—Mutes the sound coming from the SurroundBar 

SDA and wireless subwoofer.

Volume Up and Down

—Adjusts the volume 

of the SurroundBar SDA and Wireless Subwoofer.

Remote

—Puts the SurroundBar SDA into “learning mode” 

so you can program it to respond to commands from your 
remote control.

Channel ID Switch

—Selects the “channel” for the wireless 

subwoofer signal. 

Don’t forget to select the same 

“channel” on the Wireless Subwoofer itself.

Gain Level Switch

—Adjusts the input sensitivity 

of the SurroundBar SDA (see page 9).

Audio Inputs

—Where you connect your TV (or other source)

to the SurroundBar SDA. Use the 5' analog L/R audio 
cable provided.

Power Connection

—The SurroundBar SDA Power 

Supply connects here. 

10 Power Switch

—Turns the SurroundBar SDA on or off, 

but you can leave it on all the time. 

SurroundBar SDA LED  

NORMAL MODE:

Green Steady

—Power is on; all is well.

Red Steady

—Power is on but no audio signal detected.

Green Two Blinks

—A remote control signal 

is received successfully.

Green Slow Blinking

—System muted.

Green Fast Blinking 

(After pressing volume up 

button)—You have reached the maximum volume. 

Green Fast Blinking 

(At power up)—SurroundBar SDA and

wireless subwoofer have established a wireless connection.

Orange Fast Blinking 

(At power up)—

SurroundBar SDA and wireless subwoofer have 
failed to establish a wireless connection.

LEARNING MODE: 

(See page 9 for instructions.)

Orange Blinking

—The SurroundBar SDA is in learning mode.

Orange Steady

—The SurroundBar SDA is in learning mode 

and a SurroundBar SDA button has been selected.

Green Blinking

—The SurroundBar SDA has successfully 

learned a remote control command.

Red Blinking

—The SurroundBar SDA has failed to learn 

a remote control command.

Red and Orange Blinking

—Learned IR codes have 

been successfully erased.
