Indoor Pictures
• Setting Flash Mode
The camera defaults to Flash Off setting. The Flash setting resets to off
when the power is turned off.
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press flash button to cycle through the Flash Mode until the one you
want is shown on the status LCD.

Indoor flash pictures are best taken in evenly well lit rooms. In these
conditions, keep your subjects at about 3 to 5 feet from the camera. In dim
lighting, keep your subjects at about 3 to 4 feet from the camera.
NOTE:
When the camera is set to Flash mode on, will blink on the Status LCD which
indicates the flash is charging battery. When it is completed, you will hear two
short beep sound indicating the flash is ready for use.
NOTE:
When the battery level is low and unable to charge the flash, there will be a low
beep tone when you press the flash button.
NOTE:
When the flash is charging, you are not able to take pictures. There will be a low
beep tone if you press the shutter button.
• Setting the Picture Quality
The camera defaults to High Resolution setting. Resolution resets to High
when power is turned off. To select Low Resolution:
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the mode button once and “HI” will flash on the status LCD.
3. While “HI” is flashing, press select button and “LOW” will flash on the
status LCD.
4. Press shutter button to confirm.
