BODY AND STEERING
HANDLEBAR INSTALLATION
1.
Replace the handlebar assembly into the steering post to the desired angle.
2.
Place the handlebar block onto the steering post. Make sure that the peg (C) is inserted to the steering post dimple (D).
3.
Insert the bolts through the top of the handlebar block.
4.
Place the mounting bracket (B) onto the bottom of the steering post and install the nuts on the bolts.
5.
Evenly torque the two front nuts to 12 ft-lb (16Nm).
6.
Torque the rear nuts evenly to 12 ft-lb (16Nm).
NOTE: There will be a slight gap on the backside of the blocks after the procedure is performed.
7.
Replace the handlebar pod.
