6. MENU key. By simply pressing, access the function menu. By long press, switch between
frequency mode (VFO) and channel mode (MR).
7. Alphanumeric keyboard.
8. EXIT key. Press to exit the menu or a function. Press and hold to display the battery voltage
(eg Voltage 7.9V).
9. FM/SOS key. Press briefly to activate the FM radio mode. Press briefly again to exit FM
radio mode. Press and hold to activate the SOS function. The flashlight will flash frequently
and an alarm will sound. Press briefly again to exit SOS mode.
10. PTT key. Press briefly to transmit. Release the key to receive.
11. Flashlight/MONITOR key. Press briefly to turn on the flashlight. Press again briefly to
switch to strobe lighting mode. Press again to turn off the flashlight. Hold down this key to
activate the Monitor function (squelch off). Release the key to exit the Monitor function.
12. 2-pin connector for headphone with microphone.
13. Red LED on transmission, green LED on reception.
14. Flashlight.
15. Battery release key.
