After saving the session data, the saved file can be analysed.
To ensure that the researcher can use any number of tools to examine the data, the file is saved in text
format (*.txt).
This allows for analysis to be carried out using a variety of software tools, including MatLab, Python,
Labview, Excel and so on.
When you open the session dat using Notepad or similar software, you can see that the data is organized
into columns, with the following meaning::
1st Column: sequential control number of the samples obtained; since sampling
is carried out at the rate of 1000 per second, each line represents a sample of
0.001 seconds (wich results by the formula 1/sample rate[Hz]);
2nd Column: Binary value of bioPLUXresearch digital port (0 if OFF, 1 if ON);
3rd to 10th Column: dimensionless value of the amplitude of the signal that
varies between 0 and 4096 (digital values), for the eight channels available in
the bioPLUXresearch device.
