Note on leakage of liquid from the
cartridge
• Liquid may leak from the cartridge
due to sudden changes in temperature
(such as when you bring the cartridge
from a below-freezing outdoor
environment to a warm indoor
environment in winter), or changes
in pressure (such as when you bring
the cartridge on an airplane). If
liquid leaks out, perform cleaning. In
addition, if you will be bringing the
cartridge on an airplane or leaving it
unused for a long period of time, take
preventive measures to keep the liquid
from getting onto the other parts by
removing the cartridge from the device
in advance and sealing it up separately.
• Immediately wipe up any liquid that
leaks from the cartridge. If it gets in
your eyes, they may become irritated.
Avoid rubbing your eyes, and rinse
them with clean water immediately. If
your symptoms do not improve, seek
medical attention.
