14. Media management features
14.1. Erasing an SD card or USB device
PLEXTALK allows you to erase an SD card and USB device. To erase an SD card or USB
device, do the following:
•
Press the Menu key once to access the Main Menu.
•
Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Media Management" option and select it by
pressing the Enter key.
•
Use the Left or Right key to select "Delete all files on the SD card" or "Delete all files
in the USB device" and press the Enter key.
•
PLEXTALK will ask you to confirm that you wish to continue with the formatting
process. Press the Enter key again to continue or the Cancel key to abort.
•
If you choose to continue, the formatting process will start. PLEXTALK will announce
when the process is complete.
Note: If the SD card or USB device is erased, all data on the media will be deleted.
14.2. Creating a new title
To create a new title on the SD card or USB device when not in recording standby, do the
following:
•
Press the Title key to select SD card or USB device.
•
Press the Menu key once to access the Main Menu.
•
Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Media management" option and select it by
pressing the Enter key.
•
Use the Left or Right key to go to the "Create a new title" option and select it by
pressing the Enter key.
•
PLEXTALK will then ask you to confirm that you wish to proceed. Press the Enter
key to confirm or the Cancel key to abort.
Note: New title is created under the "PlexRecording" folder.
14.3. Deleting a title
PLEXTALK enables you to delete a title on an SD card or USB device.
